This addition to the range of enamel pieces made by HAY is a welcome stablemate to the other pieces. They refer to it as a deep plate but equally you might say it is a shallow bowl!

You could use these as side plates but I think they might be better put to use as one of those vessels to just have knocking around and on which you could store citrus fruit, or garlic, or ginger.

The base colour of the plate is a royal blue and it has flick-applied white decoration. There is also a larger plate available with the same base colour but with a finer dusting of white spots.
